Well buillt homemade floats never on salt water stored for the past 15 years. Some minor damage to the bottoms but were tight when removed in 2000. Similar to cap 2000 design as per pictures. Located on Gabriola Island, BC. Willing to deliver for cost (ferries and mileage) a reasonable distance or you can pick them up (17 feet by about 24 inches in diameter each). Shipping these is VERY VERY expensive and not worth it. Includes braces and spreader bars off the Zenair CH300, rudders and misc parts.
Cozy Kit Mark IV for Sale Plan number #1445 I have up for sale is my partial built Cozy Mark IV. I have spent many years working on this but my interests have changed and I do not fly anymore. So, I want to sell the pieces of the kit I have. I have worked on these plans up to Chapter 13. I took the utmost care while building the kit because I planned to fly in it so I wanted to make sure everything was done according to the plans. I used approved epoxy and all parts were bought from approved vendors like Spruce Aircraft. I have been away from the building for a few years so excuse me if my terminology is not correct. The Cozy was built with these features: visible fuel tank gauges, electric retractable front gear, removable instrument panel, improved floor heat tubes, nose tip pitot tube. The plane is covered in Peal and ply (hope that’s the correct name) covering to make epoxy fibreglass easier to work on. The parts I have worked on are: Canard: complete Fuselage: Bottom half and with passenger seats done. Rear landing gear: Complete with the brakes Parts for: The complete canopy windows include rear tinted ones Retractable electric front landing gear – mostly installed Lots of foam for the turtle back and enough to complete fuselage body. The main wing vertical tips foam. Many rolls of fibreglass and some unused epoxy As all builders know I have spent hundreds of hours building this kit. I took many pictures of the build and you can have all these to see what I have done. This kit is about 40% complete with parts to get you to about 70%. The only parts I have not bought are: the main wing foam and glass. I have used the highest grade of parts and followed the plans closely. I probably have close to $20K in parts and plans. I would like to get $7999 for everything. If you have any question or would like to see any pictures of parts please contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or cell 403-863-4219. The plane part are located in Calgary, I might be interested in a trade for the right item. The pictures of finished plane is include for reference only.
